Dr Samantha Brunt
MD, PhM, BSc (hons)
Samantha completed her medical degree at UWA graduating in 2019. Prior to this, she spent three years completing research in the field of Immunology and published several small scientific papers. Although cells of the immune system are fascinating, they are not great at conversation, and Samantha turned her sights to a career with more human interaction- medicine.
Samantha has spent time at Royal Perth Hospital, Armadale Kelmscott Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women and Perth Children’s Hospital, and is now completing her GP training in the community. She enjoys many aspects of medicine including chronic disease management, women’s health, paediatrics, immunology and weight management. She is particularly interested in delivering preventative medicine and preserving the health of her patients.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys time with her family on the water, much to the distaste of their pet labradoodle- who often gets seasick.
